Kurabayashi Asako - Waiting

Yet another in a long series of Megatokyo Character studies, here we have Yuki's friend Asako waiting for her friends to see a movie. The statue behind her... well, there is a big long story built into this picture, but im not gonna spill it yet. Asako is one of Yuki's closest friends, and her bright enthusiasm towards life (and boys) seems to have no limit or dimming switch. Is she REALLY waiting for her friends to see a movie? Is she waiting for a date? Is he (or she) late? The statue is covered with purika photos, a statue that promotes something like 'successful couple' if you add stickers to it IS the kinda place she'd suggest meeting up... yes, quite a few odd little details to notice in this illustration of our more complicated than you think Asako-chan.
