This really is a 'random' sketch. I was listlessly sketching the other night, with little motivation to really draw anything, when this scribble started to take shape. The character designs for 'warmth' are pretty well established, but that doesn't mean that you can't play with the edges of what makes the characters who they are. I was thinking a little sideways about Saeko and Tomu, who based on most of the artwork i've done so far are feeling kinda flat - which doesn't reflect their character very well. Since 'warmth' has fewer characters, the roles that each character plays is much more important, and i want to be able to show many sides of each of the characters as they change (or not) in the course of the story. That probably didn't mean much to you, but these are the kinds of sketches that pop up from time to time that help with the formation of ideas and the solidification of characters.
