While in Florida, I sat down to work on Monday's comic friday night, but i was too tired to focus on it, so i just started sketching randomly. My mood took me here, for some reason, revisiting my Haibane Renmei doujin idea. Funny how ideas for some things come when you are working on others. Memai is a lone Haibane, there are no others in Old Home or the Factory. Since i can't paint worth a darn, i keep thinking that if i add lots of density to the drawings and to the backgrounds, i can add that sense of thickness that much of Abe's work seems to have. I still have a long long way to go.
