Kind of in the back of my head for the past few months I've been thinking about a Haibane Renmei doujinshi idea, and as is usual with those ideas they eventually find their way to paper. This is Memai (which means 'spinning, dizzy, disoriented) and i won't go more into my idea quite yet. Does she look a little bit like Kimiko? Yes, a little, but it's not Kimiko. :) This is actually a new version of a very rough sketch in one of my sketchbooks, and i think it came out pretty decent. The design of her hair is more of a in-process thing - note the length of it even around front, and the arcing of it - far different than Kimiko's lift. The main thing that makes her look like Kimiko is the eyes. For some reason, i don't want to change that...
