I've been teasing people with information about 'warmth' for years now. As i've said before, 'warmth' was the story/manga concept that i was working on *before* megatokyo took over my life. :P Megatokyo is the 'accidental' project that has grown to quite a bit more than i could have ever hoped... even to the point that now, upon being laid off from my day job, I find myself not only doing Megatokyo full time, but able finally to seriously consider doing this project. I'm currently looking into doing this series in monthly installments - and as such, i'm busy unearthing all the material for 'warmth' that i developed years ago and kept in the back of my mind. Honestly, i've had a horrible day today - there's something that makes you feel a little lonely, little scared, a little nervous about taking on something like this full time, and today i just seem to be in a little bit of the doldrums. This sketch is not a very good one, but it's quite literally a doodle, something i just started scribbling while looking and reading thru old notes. It did seem to capture something, tho i can't quite put my finger on . I also twiddled the color settings a bit to get back some literal 'warmth' to the lines - something that disappears with a lot of the greyscale work i normally do.
