When i took on the task of doing the Megatokyo cover, I decided that I really needed to learn more photoshop techniques and learn to not only produce color images quicker, but better ones. The speed has come in handy - I.C. needed another temporary cover by sunday, so i drew up this drawing of Shizuhara Eimi and Himeneko from 'warmth' and gave it a quick pastelly coloring. It came out surprisingly well. I had spent much of the morning digging up 'warmth' material (finding a lot of old Megatokyo material i had forgotten about in the process) - old drawings and sketches are a good way to pick up on stored ideas and emotive thinking that was part of what i was writing when i was first developing warmth two years ago.
