I'm trying to experiment with how quickly I can produce a color drawing. A lot of the techniques I tend to use take forever, and the result it that I don't do too many color drawings. This new tablet has a really nice sensitivity to it, however, that I am growing more confident with. I used Micron ink pens on velum to hardline this drawing, which i then scanned and cleaned up in Photoshop. The trick that I used here was to use the Magic Eraser to erase everything but the hardline, so that I could color underneath the lines. I tried a few thinks in Painter, but settled on using a Simple Water and Broad Water Brush to achieve a little texture for this painting of Honoka.
