blurred is a little experimental website that i did back in 1999 before Megatokyo and the current iteration of fredart. It contains six drawings, two of which contain partial nudity. The premise of the site is simple - you page through blurred and obscured versions of the sketches and you can 'sharpen' them by clicking on them. It is deliberately minimalistic, and tries to create a mood within the site that is more than just a clickable list of drawings. Most japanese CG artist sites contain 'adult' areas where the artist post artwork that contains nudity or overt material. I like to create characters that have a quiet yet tangible sexuality to them, i just like to do it in subtle ways. Overt images aren't really my thing, but that doesn't mean that i don't sketch drawings from time to time that aren't edgier than others. This was an experimental site that I toyed with to give somewhere i could post such work. Please pardon the rather poor artwork. All of these drawings are over six years old (even the one that comes from a character that eventually became Erika) and quite jarring to look at compared to what I draw these days. What makes it an interesting piece of Megatokyo history is that this is what i was consider to be the content of Piro's sketchbook - I just assume he draws better than this. I am re-posting the site completely unchanged or altered from the original, including all the broken links on the last page.
